Year 10 Spatial & Product Design (10SPD)

Overview

Spatial design is about designing spaces for people and understanding how people move, interact and feel within these spaces. Product design is about designing products for people, places and animals and understanding their needs and wants.

After completing classroom exercises to develop 2D and 3D drawing and presentation skills, these are put to use in designing solutions to a range of design briefs in the areas of architecture and product design.

Where does this course lead?

This course leads onto Level 1 Spatial & Product Design and then onto Levels 2 and 3 followed by tertiary study and careers in design, architecture, engineering and related areas.
