Year 10 Art is primarily a practical subject. Students are assessed against the four Visual Arts Curriculum Strands: Practical Knowledge, Developing Ideas, Communicating and Interpreting and the Visual Arts in Context
You will learn how art works are made and the processes involved in their making. In your course you will undertake a wide range of projects where you will develop skills in drawing, painting, printmaking and photography.
You will study and observe a range of subject matter from which you will make a range of artworks using a variety of media. The course focuses on using artist models as a way to help you develop your ideas and skills.
