What will I learn?

You will build on instrumental and theoretical skills gained in Year 7 and 8 and continue to develop your ensemble playing.

You will learn through participating in a programme that incorporates practical, written and listening activities.

Assessment outline

There will be practical assessments in group performance and composition.

Where does this course lead?

This course is aimed at increasing your musical skills in preparation for Year 10 Music. If you intend to take Year 10 Music it is recommended that you attend a weekly itinerant or private instrumental lesson in addition to this course.
