Year 10 Spanish (10SPN)

Overview

You will develop skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in accordance with the national curriculum in Spanish language. You will also learn aspects of Spanish culture.

What will I learn?

You will learn actively through communication and interaction in Spanish language. Activities will focus on the key aspects of language: listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Assessment outline

You will be assessed on your listening, speaking, writing and reading skills through a range of assessment methods.

Where does this course lead?

This option prepares you for NCEA Level 1 in Spanish language.

This is offered as a half or full year course. It is recommended that you take the full year course if you want to take Spanish at NCEA Level 1.
