Overview

This module is introductory to Māori Performing Arts and will explore both language, movement, and culture.

What will I learn?

• • Understand and participate in karakia

  • Practical tasks to develop core movement skills and cultural expressions

  • Engage with te reo Māori and respond to a variety of commands

  • Pūrakau related to our school and wider area

  • Mahitahi - working collaboratively with others
