Year 9 Māori (9MAO)
Overview
This option course students will engage in both te reo Māori and Arts and Culture.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to describe relationships between people
Use active sentences in different tenses
Describe the weather in different parts of Aotearoa on any given day
Understand tikanga around powhiri and the marae
Engage in raranga (weaving) and/or whakairo (carving) and understand the significance to Māori
