Overview

This course is designed to give akonga confidence in themselves to work effectively and creatively in a group. It builds essential skills in creative communication and understanding of how humans think, move and act. Using the wonderful vehicle of Drama students will work actively and practically on a daily basis. 

What will I learn?

You will learn to engage in the exciting world of performance through participating in daily warm-ups and structured practical tasks covering core skills from the Drama curriculum. The aim is to allow you to confidently put knowledge into action and form an understanding of how the body, voice and space are essential in all aspects of performance. Activities are varied and open to respond to the needs of each individual class. Exploration of lighting, costume, set and props in a stage context will also happen.
