Year 9 Spanish (9SPN)

What will I learn?

Students will be introduced and exposed to Spanish language, with the focus being on communication to build language and cultural knowledge. Students will be working towards understanding and constructing simple texts using their knowledge of the target language.

You will learn actively through communication and interaction in Spanish language. Activities will focus on the key aspects of language; listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Assessment outline

You will be assessed on your listening, speaking, writing and reading skills against achievement objectives based on the national curriculum.

This option prepares you for Year 10 Spanish language.
